Soolking également connu sous le nom de MC Sool est une figure qui n’est plus à présenter pour les adeptes de l’univers du Rap et du Hip-Hop. Son album intitulé « Fruit du Démon » sorti en 2018 a été plébiscité. Pourtant, le parcours du rappeur n’a pas toujours été évident.

Abderraouf Derradji connu du public par son nom de scène Soolking est né le 10 décembre 1989 en Algérie, à Baïnem, une banlieue du nord d’Alger. Il a deux frères et une sœur. Étant fils de batteur, il a baigné très tôt dans l’art et la musique. Le jeune Abderraouf avait la ferme intention de faire carrière dans ce domaine.

Avant de s’orienter vers le Rap, il a d’abord évolué dans l’univers du Rock en intégrant un petit groupe. Puis, il se passionne pour la danse, un art qui l’a poussé à quitter son pays natal 2008, pour s’établir en France. Mais n’arrivant pas à trouver sa voie dans ce domaine, il retourne en Algérie pour se consacrer à ce qui a fait sa renommée : le Rap. 
En formant le groupe Africa Jungle, il a pu se faire remarquer. Ainsi, en 2014, il décide de retourner en France. À partir de 2016, il se lance dans une carrière solo et intègre le label « Hyper Focal ». Commencent alors les collaborations avec des rappeurs comme Alonzo, Soprano, Karim,… 
Il connait un certain succès avec les titres Milano et Guérilla, avant de connaitre une renommée internationale avec le fameux « Dalida ». Le 2 novembre 2018, il sort l’album « Fruit du Démon » qui a été certifié Disque de Platine après 7 mois.

Soolking also known as MC Sool is a figure that is no longer to be presented to fans of Rap and Hip-Hop. His album entitled « Fruit du Démon », released in 2018, was acclaimed. However, the rapper’s career path was not always easy.
Abderraouf Derradji, known to the public by his stage name Soolking, was born on December 10, 1989 in Algeria, in Baïnem, a suburb of northern Algiers. He has two brothers and one sister. As the son of a drummer, he was immersed in art and music at a very early age. Young Abderraouf had every intention of pursuing a career in this field. 
Before moving to Rap, he first evolved in the Rock universe by joining a small group. Then, he became passionate about dance, an art that pushed him to leave his native country in 2008 and settle in France. But unable to find his way in this field, he returned to Algeria to devote himself to what had made him famous: Rap. 
By forming the Africa Jungle group, he was able to get noticed. Thus, in 2014, he decided to return to France. From 2016, he embarked on a solo career and joined the label « Hyper Focal ». Then began collaborations with rappers such as Alonzo, Soprano, Karim,… 
He had some success with the titles Milano and Guérilla, before becoming internationally renowned with the famous « Dalida« . On November 2, 2018, he released the album « Fruit du Démon » which was certified Platinum Disc after 7 months.
