Christopher Daniel Soriano, Jr (born January 4, 1997), better known as CJ, is an up and coming artist who has experienced a huge buzz quickly. He is an American and Puerto Rican native of Staten Island, New York.
The 24-year-old rapper, who is active in the Brooklyn drill scene, recently signed a music recording deal with Warner Records.
He is best known for his single « Whoopty, » released in the summer of 2020.
The song quickly went viral and was one of the biggest songs of the summer, largely thanks to social media.
The song reached number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in February 2021, as well as number three in the UK and the Billboard Global 200 top 10. Following to this success, the song was officially remixed by French Montana and Rowdy Rebel, and by Puerto Rican rappers Anuel AA and Ozuna, titled « Whoopty Latin Mix ».
After its release, the track has accumulated more than 50 million plays on Spotify and more than 350 million views on the YouTube video.

Le rappeur de 24 ans, évoluant dans l’univers de la drill de Brooklyn, a récemment signé un contrat d’enregistrement musical avec Warner Records.
Il est surtout connu pour son single « Whoopty », sorti à l’été 2020.
La chanson est rapidement devenue virale et l’une des plus grandes chansons de l’été, en grande partie grâce aux réseaux sociaux.
Le titre s’est classé numéro 10 du Billboard Hot 100 US en février 2021, et numéro 3 du Billboard Global 200 top 10 au Royaume Uni.
