Bryson Tiller, born January 2, 1993 in Louisville, Kentucky, is an American RnB singer.

Bryson is an American rapper, singer and songwriter who rose to prominence after the release of his debut single « Don’t« , which reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100.

He gained even greater notoriety after the release of his song « Exchange » from his debut album « Trapsoul » The single reached number 26 on the Billboard Hot 100 and even earned him a Grammy nomination. Tiller describes his music as « trap and pure hip-hop with hints of contemporary R&B ». His musical style is often compared to Drake, Jeremih, PartyNextDoor or Tory Lanez.

When he was 4 years old, his mother died. After that, his aunt took care of raising him and his younger brother Eric. Tiller Mouyabi started singing and rapping at the age of 15, and officially launched his career in 2011 with the release of Killer Instinct Vol.1. However, in 2013 he took a « musical break » because he had to make sure his daughter was well fed and moved from job to job between Goya Wok and a moving company.

On October 2, 2015, he released his first studio album titled T R A P S O U L. The album debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 200 and sold over 22,000 copies in its first week. The album appeared on the charts of several music magazines, was named the best album of 2015 by Complex magazine and is on The Root magazine’s list of 10 favorite albums of 2015.

In the summer of 2014, Bryson Tiller resumed his career after his friends gave him money to buy equipment. Thus, Bryson Tiller began to release his songs on the platform SoundCloud, and the track Don’t had great success on the Internet before becoming a mainstream success, reaching number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the week of January 30, 2016. Approaches from record producer Timbaland and Canadian rapper Drake led to major labels taking notice of Tiller, who eventually chose to partner with RCA Records, announced on August 25, 2016. His second single « Exchange » reached the 26th position on the Billboard Hot 100, is even nominated in the category of best R&B song at the Grammy Awards.

He performed the two hits « Don’t » and « Exchange » on stage at the BET award ceremony in June 2016, where he won the Best New Artist and Best RnB Artist awards. In July 2016, he collaborated with rapper Future on the track « Ima Be Alrigth » by DJ Khaled from his ninth album Major Key. In September 2016, he collaborated with rapper Travis Scott on the track First Take from Travis’ second album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnigth.

In January 2017, he announced that his second album would be titled True to Self. On May 11, 2017, he revealed the cover of his second album and announced that the album would be released on June 23, 2017. He also released three new singles, « Honey, » « Somethin tell me » and « Get mine » in collaboration with rapper Young Thug.

Also in 2017, Bryson Tiller was invited to collaborate with DJ Khaled and Rihanna for the track « Wild Thoughts »; which reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was performed on stage during the 60th Grammy Awards. On May 26, 2017, Bryson Tiller released his second studio album True to Self, which entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1 and sold 107,000 copies in its first week
